- Now reduce the heat of your oven to 275 degrees and bake for about an hour or so untill you reach 150 -155 degrees. If not using a leave in thermometer check with a instant read thermometer at the 45 mins mark. At this temperature it's about 8-10 mins per every 10 degrees so plan your sides accordingly.
