- Take 150 g corn chips
- Prepare 1.5 cup cheddar cheese, grated

- Take Guacamole
- Provide 6 medium sized avocados

Instructions to make Nachos:
- Layer a foil tray with half of the corn chips, then layer with half of the grated cheddar and mozzarella.
- Add half of the chopped cherry tomatoes, slice the jalapeno finely (I always remove the membrane and seeds) add 1 chopped jalapeno saving the other for the next layer. Add half of the chopped chives. Cover with foil and place on the braai for 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted. Serve with Guacamole, sour cream and salsa.
- Repeat steps 1 and 2 for a second layer. And garnish with extra chopped jalapeno.
- For the guacamole, mash up the avocados. Add the chopped red onion, tomatoes and jalapeno, season with paprika, salt and pepper. Add in lime juice. (The lime juice helps keep the guacamole from getting brown)
- For the salsa, in a bowl add in your chopped cherry tomatoes, chopped jalapeno and red onion and mix, mix in the lime juice and salt and pepper.
