  3. Prepare 1 tbsp roasted peanuts
  4. Make ready 1 tbsp roasted gram

  6. Get 1 tsp mustard seeds
  7. Get 1 tbsp urad dal
  8. Take 1-2 finely chopped green chillies
  9. Prepare leaves Few curry
  10. Make ready 2 dry red chillies
  11. Make ready 1/4 tsp tumeric powder
  12. Get to taste Salt
  13. Prepare Finely chopped fresh coriander leaves to garnish

Steps to make Amla Rice/ Gooseberry Rice:
  1. Wash and soak basmati rice for 30 minutes. Pressure cook/ boiled for 2 whistles with salt. Keep aside.
  2. Wash and dry Amla. Grate them and keep aside.
  3. Dry roast peanuts in kadhai or Airfryer. Cool & discard it's skins.
  4. In pan add heat oil. Add mustard seeds as splutter add urad dal,roasted gram,saute till pinkish. Add curry leaves, chopped green chillies, dry red chillies pieces. Saute for 1 minute. Add tumeric powder,roasted peanuts,mix well.
  5. Add tumeric powder,roasted peanuts. Mix well. Add grated Alma. Mix well. Add cooked rice. Mix well and cook for 1 minute.
  6. Serve/ Relish Delicious Hot Amla Rice/ Gooseberry Rice garnishing with chopped coriander leaves.

The Indian gooseberry or amla is abundant in vitamin C and vitamin A. It also contains high levels of folic acid and minerals like calcium.
