- Heat the oil in a non stick pan, add the mustard seeds, chana daal, and raw peanuts and saute on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
- Add the dry red chillies and onions and saute on a medium flame for 1 minute. Add green chillies, ginger paste. Saute it again for 1 minute.
- Add the turmeric powde, asafoetida and coconut and saute on a medium flame for 1 minute.
- Add the cooked rice, lemon juice and salt, mix gently and cook on a medium flame for 2-3 minutes., while stirring occasionally.
- Switch off the gas, finally add coriander and mix well.
- Serve hot.
