Now pour the mixture into the rice cooker or the pot, then cover and allow to steam. When the grits rice is halfway steamed, add moringa leafs, diced onions, spring onions and carrot. Keep steaming and if it doesn't feel soft add more water until you get a soft and tender rice grits. Grind your rice and sieve out the rice flour, the fine rice grains is to be used.

  1. Sieve the grinded rice and wash the grains left on the sieve.
  2. Put the rice in a steamer and steam for 20 mins.
  3. Remove from heat and add all the ingredients and steam again for at least 1hour until it's done.
  4. Remove from heat and adjust the taste.you can add grinded pepper and oil.
