The ingredients needed to make Puff Pastry with Apple:
  1. Prepare flour
  2. Get sugar
  3. Get salt
  4. Get or 85 grams unsalted butter,

Place one sliced apple half cut face down in the centre of each pastry piece. Brush apple and pastry borders with beaten egg and sprinkle with caster sugar. Lightly brush edges of pastry with egg wash. Place apple filling in center of squares.

Instructions to make Puff Pastry with Apple:
  1. Sift the flour and salt into a large bowl. Roughly break the butter in small chunks, add them to the bowl and rub them in loosely. You need to see bits of butter
  2. Make a well in the bowl and pour in about two-thirds of the cold water, mixing until you have a firm rough dough adding extra water if needed. Cover with cling film and leave to rest for 20 mins in the fridge.
  3. Turn out onto a lightly floured board, knead gently and form into a smooth rectangle. Roll the dough out in rectangle shape if possible and cut straight line this should give you at least 8 straight line and set aside
  4. Heat up a small pot; add apple, butter and sugar stir to caramelized for about a minutes and remove from heat then set aside to cool off
  5. Place apple on each cut dough and roll till you get the cut shape and place in a cupcake pan
  6. Once done, use a pastry brush and brush either butter or whisk egg on it and place in a baking tray and bake for about 18 - 20 minutes
  7. Remove from oven once its done and serve

Lightly brush edges of pastry with egg wash. Place apple filling in center of squares. Fold over puff pastry to create a triangle and gently press edges together. Using a fork, press edges to seal (see note). Thaw puff pastry according to directions on package.
