White rice with shiso gets a typical Japanese flavour which tastes a bit sour and is esp. because of that liked by a lot of people. It also tastes great with pasta or used for salad dressings. A flexible and flavorful traditional Japanese-style seasoning to sprinkle over rice, pasta and salads.
