  1. You need 2 lbs of ground pork (or beef – not too lean).
  2. You need 5 Ounces of cheddar cut into 1/4 inch cubes.
  3. You need 8 of Smoked Bacon strips.
  4. You need 2 of Table spoons garlic powder.
  5. Prepare 2 of Table spoons onion powder.
  6. It’s 1 of Table spoon dried Oregano.
  7. Prepare 2 of Table spoons each salt and black pepper.

Bacon and Cheese Grillers instructions

  1. Fry the bacon till most fat is rendered. Let it cool then chop coarsely (about 1/4 inch pieces).
  2. Mix the meat with garlic and onion powder, Oregano, salt and pepper then add the bacon and the cheese. Mix well..
  3. Use the meat mixture to form 4 inch diameter patties / burgers, 1/2 inch in thickness (either by hand or using a burger form or such).
  4. Place a piece of parchment paper between the burgers, place burgers in a freezer bag and freeze them overnight (or longer / whenever you need them!).
  5. While still frozen, pre-heat the grill to medium low, (remove the parchment paper) and grill the burgers 15 – 17 minutes till they reach an internal temperature of 160 F. Serve immediately.
