Tart Shells.
Ingredients of Tart Shells
- Prepare 200 grams of butter.
- Prepare 70 grams of sugar (or more, depending on taste).
- Prepare 125 grams of flour.
- You need 1 of egg.
- You need dash of vanilla extract (optional).
Tart Shells step by step
- Cream butter and sugar until pale and fluffy..
- Add the egg and combine well..
- Sift in flour in two batches until the mixture forms into a soft dough..
- Store the dough in the fridge for half an hour..
- Mould and poke the bottom with a fork to prevent breakage..
- Bake in preheated oven at 200℃ for ten to fifteen minutes or until golden brown..
- Chill in fridge overnight for best results..
