Jorge Carreño Correa was born in Santiago, Chile. Du Macht machen Ragu using 15 ingredients and 12 steps. Here is how you achieve it.

Ingredients of Ragu

  1. Es ist 1000 kg of lean minced beef.
  2. Es ist 2 of large onions finely diced.
  3. Bereiten 6 cloves of garlic finely diced.
  4. Es ist 6 tins of chopped tomatoes.
  5. Du brauchst 1 glass of good quality red wine.
  6. Es ist 200 ml of beef stock.
  7. Es ist 6 of carrots sliced.
  8. Bereiten 5 of celery sticks sliced.
  9. Bereiten 2 tbsp of hot smoked paprika.
  10. Bereiten 2 tbsp of sumac.
  11. Du brauchst of Salt and pepper.
  12. Es ist 1 tbsp of sugar.
  13. Es ist 2 of peppers diced.
  14. Bereiten of Parmesan grated.
  15. Es ist of Basil leaves for decoration.

Ragu Anleitung

  1. First of all brown the meat! On a medium heat in a large pan..
  2. Whilst the meat is browning, dice the onions.
  3. Then the garlic and add to the pan..
  4. Chop the mushroom and add!.
  5. Then the carrots..
  6. Celery…. add.
  7. Chop the peppers and add to the pan, stir well!.
  8. Next add the tomatoes..
  9. Stir add the wine and stock..
  10. Throw in the spices, add a lid! Turn the hob down to a low simmer! Stir regularly to prevent it from sticking..
  11. After over 1 and a half hours take of the lid and reduce! Taste to check for seasoning!.
  12. Let it simmer for as long as possible! Serve!.
